Instead of an organized one-day event, we are encouraging all islanders who are able to safely distance from others, to pick up trash around their neighborhood roads, or nearby beaches. Road and beach litter can be disposed of free of charge at the Lopez, Orcas, and San Juan transfer stations. OIFF Virtual Cinema Program
Orcas Island Film Festival presents an opportunity to enjoy some choice films and support a great cause! The proceeds from this virtual cinema will support the Sea View Theatre, our beloved local cinema during this challenging time when their doors must remain closed to protect the community. While all restaurants are required to close their dining-in areas at this time, many are still operating with take-out/delivery options. Plan to call ahead to confirm that they are open, but we encourage supporting the small businesses in our community during this time, if you are able! This includes boutiques and other shops across the county, many of which are still offering gift card sales as an option to support them in this challenging time.
